The agency that is responsible for the brand is Activision Publishing Inc., which is a company that markets lots of modern games, including the call of duty series, various sega games, and Blizzards.

References to their games in other games-for example, having lots of characters from their world of Warcraft series appear in the Starcraft games. 5. Always releasing information for the games a very large amount of time in advance for every single game release to get their fan base excited for the games for when they finally come out.
Their branding is very successful for many reasons. Their very large fan base leads to many games being sold by word of mouth. Since all their games are similar and interconnected, many people who have 1 blizzard game will buy another. Another advantage of having all the games interconnected is that friends will tell other friends through the battle.net network about how good the game they're playing is. Since they are a very well known company, their products displayed in stores will be more likely bought. Blizzard has been making games for a really long time, and since many high quality games are associated with them, customers will be more likely to buy blizzard products.
